  • Hello Tai and Talaat,
You smashed it as usual with another fantastic video. These are as you said investments but all are also insurance. Insurance unlike investments protect you and yours. Whereas investments you are looking to gain some sort of financial increase. This by Dave Ramsey. You covered this subject matter superbly. It was not too difficult to understand and digest, and it was more detailed than Cliff notes. Again always waiting anxiously for your next video, to see what you will cover next. I had recently lost my job but luckily we had our emergency fund in place. So what would have been very tramatic and stressful was actually pretty easy to deal with. It gave me time for a vacation and to finish one of my books I had been writing for years. I had other things planned just before my unexpected job loss. But God always has things workout for your good even though it may not seem that way at the time. We have a microwave mentality when it comes to getting or accomplishing things, while God has a crackpot mentality about giving us things on His time frame. And by the way this analogy is from Pastor Joel Osteen. We have to replenish our emergency fund, I just got a part time job that God orchestrated. We are constantly learning from you and other sources about financial literacy. We have discussed and about to get term insurance. We are in our sixties with no retirement but working on setting something up. We have been recently been going over setting up a will, testament or trust. Thanks for all that you do. It is a blessing to have a young black couple to learn from and look up to. We need our own and not be dependent on or beg from others.

  • You guys are awesome! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and encouragement. I need to do a will as I am divorced mom of disabled adult child. Im working on funding my ER fund.

  • “Mobile university” Love this! Estate planning and revisiting retirement planning with a professional are both on summer goals list. I’ve been following you guys for such a long time and I really enjoy your channel and your podcast!

  • You guys are truly a blessing, thank you so much for this information. I'm a mom of two and I what to do my best for them. I didn't have all the answers, I was just asking in one of my frugal groups what did they think was the best insurance policy to have because right now I only have whole life which was in affect before my babies were born. I have all kind of I's to dot and T's to cross now that I have my babies. Keep up the awesome work❤

  • I often listen to personal finance 'stuff' around my children, currently ages 10 and 13. My 13 year old in particular has absorbed a LOT. He sometimes comes home and tells me about offhand comments his teachers make, because he knows enough to know it doesn't have to be that way. There are SO many adults that ignorant about personal finance. Teach your kids, and teach them young, before someone else tries to!
